PROGRAM SNAPSHOT

Introduction to the sport of wrestling. For first- or second-year wrestlers. No tournaments are required. Goal for this group is to have fun, learn the basics, and build athleticism and body control.

First or second year wrestlers with a can-do-it attitude. This group strives to compete in at least three events this fall season. Goal is to build a competitive move set and apply skills in competition. Dual team eligible.

Beginner wrestlers who are eager to grow their skills and prepare for HS wrestling. Goal for this group is to learn the basics, build a competitive move set, and compete in three tournaments this season. Dual team eligible.

Advanced kids ready to compete and travel for tournaments throughout the season. Dual team eligible. Goal is to compete and place at the TXUSA state tournament (rookie, novice, or open) in February.

Available at all COMP TEAM practices.

First or second year wrestlers.

Wrestlers 8+ years old and one year of tournament experience. Serious athletes.
