Drake Dudley was introduced to martial arts as a kid and loved to wrestle on the living room rug and backyard trampoline with his cousins as a toddler. At the age of nine, Drake was introduced to wrestling and started competing in local, state, and national events.

At Flower Mound High school, Drake was team captain all four years, a three-time state finalist including a state championship in 2011. His senior year, Drake would fall to Bo Nickal (3-1) in the Texas UIL State Finals in 2013. Drake received his purple belt in jiu-jitsu at 18 and went on to wrestle collegiately at Colorado Mesa University.

Redshirting his freshmen year and posting a strong record of 14-6 - placed third in the Wyoming Cowboy Open, fourth in the Colorado Mesa Open, and second in the Old Chicago Northern Colorado Open.

Unfortunately, his sophomore year, would sustain a nearly career ending groin injury. Drake would be sidelined the next several years with a ligament tear. He would go on to wrestle two years in NCWA at the University of North Texas and be coached by the Legend Andre Metzger, finishing top 12 in 2018. From there, Drake received his BBA from the University of North Texas in 2019 and began working in finance where he developed a love for investments and crypto currency. The same year, he began FM Wrestling Club and a dream was born.

Drake’s passion for coaching and the sport of wrestling has never stopped. And his goal is to build up and mentor as many kids as possible by giving back knowledge, building confidence and resilience, and helping students grow in character through the sport of wrestling.
